We do this by providing precision fluid and adhesive control systems on high-speed machinery.  But we are also the innovation partner our customers turn to when they have  a specific need outside of ready-made machinery.

Our story

From our beginnings in 2000, SPI has grown into a precision engineering company trusted by manufacturers across multiple sectors.

SPI is founded

Our first machines whirred into action, providing hot melt systems for the tobacco industry.

Expansion into PVA systems

We expanded our offering to include cold glue and PVA application systems.

Modular architecture is introduced

Recognising that our partner’s needed more than one-size-fits all systems, we launched our first modular units.

Introduced flavour and fluid systems

We hit a big milestone as we expanded introducing flavour and fluid systems, across Europe, Asia and the Americas

SPI becomes part of Tembo Group

Tembo acquired SPI in 2018 and opened up our products to other industries including home care and paper straw

New sectors and applications

With the help of Tembo our expansion continued as we moved into new markets – FMCG, paper straws, home care and more.

We believe the best way to support our partners is to be  there every step of the way so that’s exactly what we do.

Concept

First, we meet with you to talk about your challenges and determine whether you need a ready-made or custom-built system.

Design

Then, our team creates detailed CAD designs, 3D models and prototypes for you to review.

Manufacture

Once you’ve signed off on the designs, our  in-house engineers build your tailored system.

Install

When everything is ready, we install your machinery, ensuring smooth integration with any existing systems.

Maintain

Our support doesn’t end at installation. We provide ongoing maintenance to ensure your systems continually perform at their best.
