RWS Sweetener

The RWS is a single track tipping paper rewind unit incorporating a sweetener printer. The machine unwinds a reel of tipping paper and applies a band of sweetener solution onto the outside of the paper about the centre line, then rewinds the foil to a controlled tension.

The printer is fed with a constant supply of sweetener solution from a graduated tank, thus being able to measure the amount of sweetener applied to the finished reel.

The machine is built around a lightweight aluminium frame and all machine processes are controlled via a microprocessor based control board.
